For Kiama, Wil Diabarra defeated Brad Wills 1-up, Harrison Kiteley edged out Corey Nolan 1-up, and Will Bromley was 1-up against Brad Williams.
Ethan Harvey finished all square with Isaac Brown.
Selena Bosevski led the resistance for the Links Shell Cove, recording a 3-and-2 win over Eddie Ward.
Elsewhere, a dozen hardy women at The Links Shell Cove braved the wind last Thursday to take part in the annual Jean Hogan Trophy.
In its 14th year, the tournament is named in honour of 91-year-old life member, Jean Hogan, an avid supporter of women’s golf and a long-time player at the Links and formerly the old Shellharbour Golf Club.
Christine Tolhurst came home with a blistering 40 stableford points to take out the coveted trophy, while Leonie Williams was the runner-up with a score of 32 points.
Jean was on hand to present the trophy named in her honour to the winner, Christine Tolhurst after the round.
In other news, Cordeaux Heights Tahnia Ravnjak returns to competition early next month with a start in the Tieling Longshan Golf Challenge in China.
She will then play at the Thailand Masters in Bangkok the following week.
After an enforced layoff due to stress fractures in her hand earlier this year, Ravnjak is excited to be fit and ready to compete again.
“I’m excited to be back on the road,” she said.
