In the lead-in to National Dog Day on Sunday the Illawarra Shelter is hosting a kiosk in Wollongong Central between 10am and 2pm on Friday.
The aim is provide an understanding of the work the RSPCA does and the importance of providing homes for dogs presently in the shelter’s care.
The event will also be promoting the humane Adoptapet program.
Some of Illawarra Shelter’s canine residents will be there hoping to celebrate National Dog Day with a brand-new home.
