The Women’s Adventure Film Tour screens at Anita's Theatre on September 4

Short films celebrating fantastic women doing extraordinary things, will be screened at Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul on Tuesday, September 4 from 7pm.

The many inspiring stories to be shown at The Women’s Adventure Film Tour include a film about one of Australia’s best rock climbers.

Monique Forestier is one of only two Australian women to complete a route graded 34.

The Women's Adventure Film Tour is for the second year running being held to coincide with Women’s Health Week (September 3-7).

Similar events have and will be held throughout Australia.

The film tour is presented in partnership with She Went Wild - a hub for all things adventure.

Through content and events She Went Wild aim's to inspire and empower women to get into the outdoors and live an adventurous life.

Twelve inspiring short films with a focus on adventure, the environment and heart warming stories, will be shown at Anita’s Theatre.
