Three goals in the opening 15 minutes paved the way for Jeff Allport’s men to chalk up a valuable victory.
Nathan Elasi scored the opener in just the 5th minute after a scramble before Matthew McNab and Mark Every both found the back of the net.
Port pulled one back through Makota Ishihara, but United sealed the result with a fourth in the dying minutes from Elasi.
"It was great," United coach Jeff Allport said.
"We took our opportunities, which we haven't for most the year.
“When we did we really grew in confidence throughout that first half and played some good stuff.
“Hopefully that can continue into next week.”
United will take on Albion Park White Eagles next weekend.
