The Bulls season was crippled by a wretched injury toll, with over 50 players featuring in first grade this season. It’s this top-level exposure, however, that Miller feels will hold the team in good stead in 2019 and beyond.
“For 2018, it was a hard season to keep maintaining positivity through our group, with the injury toll we suffered,” Miller said. “However for 2019 for the club it’s unearthed a lot of positives.
“We look forward to using what we’ve gained from our injury toll and using that as a positive to build on next year, knowing that our talent base is strong.
“I think this team can win a competition, even this year I believed we could win it. Our future stocks are really good, a lot of young fellas embraced what’s happened to us and how we’ve succeeded. The boys brought a lot of love, a lot of heart and a lot of guys really stood out.”
