INFO NOT ON SONG
So Pauline Hanson wants to give a young girl a kick up the backside for not standing for the Australian anthem when it is played. This political hypocrite should check her facts before unloading on her fellow Australians. When it comes to Australia's national anthem, Advance Australia Fair, not a single cinema in Queensland plays the national anthem at the start or end of any screen sessions.

When I rang my cinema friend in Brisbane, he advised me that they could not run the national anthem even if they wanted to modern digital cinema technology is delivered for screening sealed and tamper proof and is unable to be changed.
The last cinema in Wollongong's area to ever play the then national anthem, was the Gerringong Cinema owned and operated by the late, great, cinema enterpreneur, Harry Waghorn. When I was a cinema projectionist, the Wollongong Fire Brigade captain asked me how I could quickly empty the cinema, I told him that I only had to play God Save The Queen and the joint would be empty in seconds.

STANDING ON THE LEFT
I have always believed the eventual destruction of this country would be caused by multiculturalism and the subsequent formation of ethnic tribal communities all having opposing views on laws, religion, and culture. However, it is very clear that it will be brought about much sooner by conflict within the core Australian population. Leftism and the anti-Western Culture movement are possibly the greatest ever peace-time threats to this nation’s cohesion.
When we see a nine-year old school girl in news headlines because she refuses to stand for the National Anthem and refuses to take the opportunity to excuse herself from the occasion, we have reached a very sad and dark place. I doubt that anyone would argue that the political/cultural views of a child of that age are not a mirror of the views of her parents or some other adult. In this case it is clear her parents agree with her stand, probably because she has allowed herself (or been encouraged) to be the “public face” of her parent’s own leftism.
Let’s hope that she hasn’t picked up unintended baggage that will stay with her through her school life and be constantly remembered in the playground and other areas.

A DESERVED THRASHING
The Liberals lost "big time" in the Wagga by-election and they deserved what they received, a thrashing. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian claims to be Catholic (when convenient) but has far more in common with atheists and cultural Marxists. Premier Berejiklian's support and sympathy for issues such as abortion, euthanasia, gender theory programs in schools, same-sex marriage, climate change and renewable energy are clear for all to see.
In addition the State government continue to ignore rural NSW while investing billions into Sydney CBD. They waste millions on consultants fees, fat-cat bureaucrats and new inner city trains. While local "bread and butter" issues in Wollongong, Newcastle, Wagga, Dubbo and Griffith are ignored. Perhaps Gladys Berejiklian could consider being Premier of NSW instead of Premier of inner City Sydney.
