Flinders man Mr Regal died last month, aged 35, following a lengthy battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
His long-time friend and musician Den Murray, formerly of Kiama but who now resides in Melbourne, has previously organised a series of ‘Rock 4 Regal’ concerts to benefit MND research.
Another ‘Rock 4 Regal’ show will take place on Saturday, October 13 at Central Hotel, Shellharbour.
Mr Murray said he had been in discussions with Mr Regal and others to host another fundraising show.
As a result, the gig’s details had almost been finalised and initially the show was to be a fundraiser for MND research.
However, following Mr Regal’s death, the decision was made to go ahead with the benefit show, albeit with funds now to be donated to his family.
“All money raised will be donated to Kylie Regal and her family after the sudden loss of husband, father, brother, son, mate and all-round great bloke Adam Regal,” Mr Murray said.
“Because Adam gave so much to the MND community, we thought we should give back to the family.”
The line-up features Furious Monk, Mixtape, Jack R Reilly, The Conspiracy Plan, Ray Friday and MFS.
The show will kick off at 8pm.
Tickets are available from www.trybooking.com/418942 or the venue.
There will also be raffles, prizes and donation collections on the night.
