The board, which will be chaired by former NSW premier Morris Iemma, will feature Bank of Queensland chief executive Jon Sutton and former Matildas great Julie Murray. Coca-Cola Amatil group general counsel Betty Ivanoff, KPMG executive Greg Daniel and managing director of Moelis Australia Ben Wong are also members of the board.
"The Board structure and appointments we are announcing today signals again to the FFA, and the Southern area we will serve, the depth and extent of the Southern Expansion bid and our capability to deliver." Southern CEO Chris Gardiner said.
“Our Board will be chaired by Morris Iemma and comprise eight other members, represented by an equal gender balance of appointees.”
One member is still to commit to the board while two will be appointed from the club’s Members entity.
