Rad Bar will host the first of two concerts on Thursday, an all ages event with Antipodes and Jetrio.
Enough Said Poetry Slam collaborates on the second event on November 24 as part of the Wollongong Writers Festival – with Czarektrio and Improper Citation performing at Wollongong Art Gallery.
The Speak Satellite is curated by a team of some of the Wollongong Conservatorium’s leading jazz students who are already out in the music field performing.
“We are giving them the chance to be a part of the business end of presenting concerts,” teacher David Reglar said.
“[The event] will hopefully allow us to engage with a younger audience whilst giving our students a chance to be on the inside of the organisational process.”
