LAUGHING ALL THE WAY
With the disgrace of bipartisan political travel rorts (involving two of our Illawarra Federal MPs) fresh in our memories, it is shameful to see both major parties attempting to justify this latest taxpayer-funded 'working' holiday for two of our retiring Federal MPs.

Facing the prospect of generous parliamentary pensions, politically motivated board appointments and other post-Parliament perks on their return, I am sure they will both be giggling over their in-flight champers all the way to NYC.

WHAT HAS CHANGED?
In response to the letter by Barry Swan ‘A Power-full Game’ (Illawarra Mercury, Monday September 17, 2018) Mr Swan has forgotten to mention how he is enjoying the Liberals internal destabilisation by Turnbull's saboteur left-wing colleagues.
Talk about thugs?
Mr Swan's support for Marxism, unionism, environmental activists, LGBTI University students and the extreme left show he is totally comfortable with thuggery, bullying and identity politics.
The bottom line is female MP's like Ann Sudmalis and former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop have been Liberal politicians for years, so why all of sudden are they complaining about bully-boy tactics?

A FOREIGN OBJECT
So Dick Smith hates Aldi with a vengeance, not only that, his criticism is that much of the Aldi merchandise is not from Australian producers.
Dick Smith’s first, and only store, in the Northern Suburbs area, was in Fairy Meadow on the Northern corner of Princes Highway and Smith Street.
I was the projectionist at Southline Drive-in Cinema, and our Now Showing movie sign was just across the road.
We could not find a single item in the Dick Smith store made in Australia, everything was made overseas.
Aldi on the other hand, is a unique shopping experience, changing its variety of stock virtually every week.
Admittedly, a lot of its stock is imported, but so are the goods in all the other stores in our area.
Go count your money made from foreign goods Dick.
