This choc-tahini (which I like to call 'Chochini') fudge seriously rocks my world. It is deliciously creamy and smooth, rich in flavour and simple to make, and is the ultimate 'go to' when you need that little chocolately fugde hit without a truck load of sugar that typically comes with a slice of traditional fudge.

This recipe combines the gut healing properties of ghee, the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties of coconut oil (not to mention the energy from the MCTs), the blood stabilising effects of cinnamon and the feel good vibes from the cacao to make this a super-duper treat to not only boost your health but boost your moods too.
Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention the star of this fudge is the tahini. Tahini is a thick paste made from ground sesame seeds, which we know are nutritious in their own right. In fact, research shows that sesame seeds and, thus, tahini has similar immune-boosting, cardiovascular-protective abilities to superfoods like olive oil, walnuts and flaxseeds. So it's definitely something we want to eat more of. You can pick up tahini from the health food section of your local supermarket or buy it in bulk at local bulkfood stores.
So what more reason do you need to whip up a batch of this delicious Chochini Fudge today.
Ingredients:
4 tbsp ghee (or organic unsalted butter)
4 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp raw honey
Salt, pinch
1/2 cup tahini
2 tbsp raw cacao
Method:
Combine ghee and coconut oil in a saucepan and melt to combine.
Remove from the heat and add in cinnamon, honey, salt, cacao and tahini and mix well until fully combined.
Pour mixture into a glass dish (I use a shallow square pyrex dish) to the desired thickness you wish your fudge pieces to be.
Top with whatever decorations you wish, and then pop it in the freezer to set. Once set, you can then store it in the freezer or fridge. If storing it in the freezer you will need to take it out an allow it to thaw for 5-10 minutes before cutting it into bite size pieces.
Enjoy!
