Olympic athletes Ryan Gregson and Genevieve LaCaze have tied the knot. The happy couple, who for many years have lived, trained and travelled the world together got married in Sydney on Friday in front of family and friends. The fairy-tale wedding capped a brilliant season on and off the track for Bulli’s Gregson and his Queensland wife LaCaze. The 1500m national champion runner Gregson only recently won the annual Mitchell Street mile in Darwin. Gregson’s partner and steeplechaser LaCaze placed second in the women’s mile earning a handsome $5000 in a time of 4 minutes 32.0 seconds. “It’s always nice to finish the season on a high,” Gregson said. “After this race we have a recovery period so it’s nice to go into a break in top form.”
