Full of bluff and bravado, identical twin brothers Riley and Leroy Hezemans thought they’d gotten off scot-free after bailing a man up on on a deserted Helensburgh railway station platform one cold night in the middle of May and nicking his shoes.

The pair was picked up by police on a northbound train at Sutherland half an hour later, wearing the exact same clothes the victim had described during a frantic call to Triple Zero moments after the attack.
Still, the 19-year-old twins refused to give an inch when officers asked them about the robbery, replying with a firm “no comment” at each question put to them.
Then police discovered the video.
It’s shameless content left little room for doubt over what had occurred that night and who was responsible.
Suddenly, the Hezemans twins were facing a not-so-scot-free future.
In the video, shot by Leroy and largely staring Riley, the pair can be seen approaching the victim as he stands on the southbound platform of the empty station, waiting for a train.
“I like your shoes, can I have them?” Riley says.
The victim laughs the request off, prompting Leroy to chime in: “f—k man give me those shoes...I will actually suck your d—k.”
“Honestly I can’t, my mum bought them for me,” the victim replies, hoping the pair will lose interest in him and leave.
However, Riley immediately responds by slapping the man in the face and standing over him, demanding he hand over his shoes.
Meantime, Leroy, still filming, can be heard laughing and encouraging his brother, saying “get him bro”.
The victim hands over one shoe but the slapping continues.
He hands over the other and receives a further blow to the face for his effort.
The victim takes off down the platform while the Hezemans boys yell abuse after him.
“Get out of here you f—king dog c—t,” Riley calls out before turning and smiling at his brother.
The pair then heads in the opposite direction, laughing and making derogatory comments about the victim as the video continues to roll.
In the dying moments of the footage, Leroy films his brother turning to him and bragging about their score: “Yew bruz, free shoes” he says before the video ends.
The pair then boards a northbound train where they are intercepted by police. The newly acquired shoes are found on the seat next to them.
The duo fronted Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday, where they each pleaded guilty to a single count of robbery in company.
They will face the NSW District Court on November 2 for sentencing.
