The estranged partner of infamous Illawarra criminal Belinda Van Krevel created a scene in court last Thursday when he learned he wouldn’t be able to contact his on/off girlfriend for another two years under an extended apprehended violence order.

“F—k the AVO” Glenn McKechnie yelled in reference to the piece of paper keeping them apart, before storming out of the courtroom in a huff.
True to his word, McKechnie took less than a week to breach the order and now finds himself back behind bars because of it.
Court documents said McKechnie turned up to Van Krevel’s Lake Illawarra home at 7.30am on Wednesday this week. No sooner had he arrived than the two began to argue, with McKechnie calling her a “slut” and a “whore”.
He eventually left the house at 9.45am, however hoped on the same Wollongong-bound bus as Van Krevel about 15 minutes later.
He continued to abuse her on the bus and call her derogatory names.
The pair got off the bus in Wollongong and went their separate ways, however Van Krevel said McKechnie was waiting at the bus stop when she returned about two hours later.
They got on the same bus but McKechnie did not speak to her.
Van Krevel phoned police to report the breach when she got home.
McKechnie was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with breaching the AVO.
He pleaded guilty in court later that day and was sentenced to four months behind bars.
The offence also put him in breach of a suspended sentence he had received a few weeks earlier for approaching Van Krevel outside Stockland Shellharbour.
He will serve two months for that breach.
