Tungai, who played for the Dragons in the inaugural NRL women’s competition, scored two in the first half, including one from a grubber from five-eighth and St George Illawarra teammate Keeley Davis.
The Australian team went on to win 40-4 in Port Moresby.
With victory well in hand, Tungai grabbed her third from another kick, before Asipau Mafi put the icing on the cake when she crashed over some Orchids defenders to score between the posts.
The Jillaroos will face New Zealand in a one-off Test against New Zealand on Saturday at Mount Smart Stadium.
Helensburgh’s Sam Bremner will captain the the team, while Dragons stars Kezie Apps, Davis, Jess Sergis, Hannah Southwell, Annette Brander and Holli Southwell are also in the squad.
