The second year of international kids’ horror film festival, Bloodfest, will take place on October 29 and 30 at Bondi Junction’s Event Cinemas.
The film-makers from throughout Australia and overseas will showcase their creativity on the eve of Halloween.
The Kiama Actors’ Studio short film, Vengeance, is a finalist in the ‘Junior’ category.
Kiama Actors’ Studio owner Emily Stratten said the film was made by the film-making class that she teaches.
The students, aged from 10 to 17, wrote and directed the film themselves.
“It’s a psychological thriller with horror aspects to it,” Stratten said. “It’s a really good film, and the process was a lot of fun for them.”
