Police have charged a man for allegedly assaulting three girls and a boy in the Shoalhaven, all aged under 10.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad started an investigation after a three-year-old boy presented at Shoalhaven Hospital with injuries on October 3.
It will be alleged in court the boy had been assaulted by a man known to him at a home in the Shoalhaven region.
Following inquiries, police will allege the man also assaulted a 10-year-old girl and two seven-year-old girls, who are all known to him.
On Tuesday, a 30-year-old man was arrested at a property in the Shoalhaven on Tuesday and taken to Nowra Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent, three counts of common assault, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
The man was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Wednesday.
