Brothers Jaiden and Nicholas King (aged 23 and 22) fronted Port Kembla Local Court Wednesday morning, accompanied by their Warilla-Lake South Gorillas teammate, Aaron Victor Joseph Sultana, 20.
All three men entered pleas of not guilty to two charges each - assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others, and affray.
Stingrays of Shellharbour player Nikita Drew has been named in court papers as the victim of the alleged assault.
Police allege the three assaulted Mr Drew at their August 5 Group Seven clash at Flinders Field.
Lake Illawarra Police were called to the ground when a fight allegedly broke out just after full-time, about 4.30pm.
The Barrack Heights brothers and Sultana, of Mount Warrigal, departed court together on Wednesday, declining questions from media.
Jaiden King later expressed frustration at the media attention, noting some at the courthouse were facing far more serious charges.
"But for some retarded reason, [they] focused on us like we murdered someone," he wrote, in a post to social media.
"At this point we haven't been convicted of nothing. I'm legally right now as guilty as the detective investigating this dumb sh-t.
"More importantly, if you're gonna film us and put it on TV, let me know beforehand 'cause I would have ironed my shirt."
It is a condition of the mens' bail that they not approach or contact Mr Drew, or anyone else who may be called as a witness.
All matters return to court on November 21, when a hearing date is expected to be set.
