The Buffalo Dining Club Mozzarella bar in Sydney won Time Outs 2014 Peoples Choice Award for its dishes made from Buffalo Mozzarella imported from Campania, Italy.
Kneading Ruby’s Kevin Duarte said the two eateries are planning “a great night of amazing food and wine” on October 29.
“We will be celebrating only the best in local produce from the Illawarra and Southern Highlands. Presented by head chefs Matt Bugeja and Joey Ashton; the night will kick off with canapés and aperitifs”.
Diners then sit at communal tables for a shared journey through a four course feast.
Mr Duarte said the night is about “showcasing the region’s outstanding produce raised by passionate local farmers and prepared using old world techniques.
The star of the night being a full saddleback pig cooked on wood and coals in an Asado style (Argentinian BBQ) accompanied with Birra Moretti and special house blended wine”.
