It’s not every day that a pharmacy beats 100 other pharmacies to take out Pharmacy of The Year in the Ventura Health group but that’s exactly what has happened recently.
Tom Perri’s Cincotta Discount Chemist Warrawong not only won that award but their manager Danni Tukuniu was also a finalist for Manager of the Year.
Cincotta Discount Chemist Warrawong was established in the early 1970s and present owner Tom took it over in 1978.
“The team is inspired by this award to serve the Illawarra even better and we could not have achieved the award without the community who support us,” Tom said.

Tom has been in the industry for 40 years and has seen the changing face of pharmacy in that time.
“We have a wider range of products in-store now and while we actually make up less medicines, they are more powerful so our pharmacological knowledge includes how a drug works, reactions with other medicines, side effects and we contact the doctor if there’s a possible problem,” he said.
