Ogilvy was sidelined throughout last week after coming off midway through the Hawks 40-point defeat at the hands of Perth Wildcats.
Coach Rob Beveridge later confirmed he was no chance of taking part in his side’s 104-93 road win over Cairns Taipans on Sunday, but hoped he could recovery in time for Saturday’s game against Brisbane.
"We shot around on [Sunday morning] but he just can't move laterally at the moment,” Beveridge said.
"He got that injury over in Perth and it is still swollen and bruised.
“We are hopeful we can get him back next week."
Ogilvy had started the season in red-hot form.
The towering centre contributed a whopping 15 points and 21 rebounds in the Hawks one-point quadruple overtime loss to Melbourne United in round one.
