Monsters and ghouls were in character for the Eve of Halloween event.
But it was the opportunity to “enjoy a scary good time” on not one, but two trains for the first time, which was a highlight for many, according to one of the organisers, Brad Johns.
“We had the Ghost train in operation again and it was popular with young and old alike,” he said.
“The Mini Monster Express rides were also a lot of fun. We started early for the kids and it has been great.”
Mr Johns said the crowd easily topped the 600 who took part in the 2017 event.
“People have also taken much more effort in dressing up this year. We’ve had a really cool Dracula,” he said.
