Swimmers from as far as Orange, Bathurst and the Hunter made the trip to Wollongong, with many of Sydney’s top swimmers also heading south for the two-day competition.
The 50-metre University pool saw some fast swimming and competitive racing, with many races coming down to the touch on the wall.
The competition’s hosts, Wollongong Swimming Club finished the meet on top of the overall medal tally, winning 15 gold medals, 21 silver and 15 bronze. Wests Illawarra also picked up 15 gold medals, while Kiama took home 16 gold.
Revesby Workers were the best of the visiting clubs, winning 17 total medals.
