The annual event acts as an important opportunity for youngsters to engage in race practice prior to the upcoming zone carnivals.
This year was also the first time the competition featured para events, with nine para athletes attending.
Albion Park Little Athletics Club president Crystal Woll said the carnival was a big success, with the athletes greeted by brilliant weather conditions.
“It was a very very good carnival,” Woll said. “We got feedback from some people saying it was the best carnival they had been to. It was a very nice day with the weather clearing and the wind dying down.
“It was the first Albion Park carnival where we offered events for para athletes, which was a big success. Overall we had kids coming from a range of regions, people from as far as Wagga and the Hawkesbury.”
