Keira MP Ryan Park said he had been approached by business owners along the highway after they’d heard the hours might be extended.
At present there is a southbound clearway in the morning and a late afternoon clearway heading north.
““I just want to try and find out if the RMS are looking at that so we can start a discussion about the potential impact that has on the village and those existing businesses,” Mr Park said.
An RMS spokeswoman said there were no plans for “new or extended clearways”.
“While new or extended clearway times on the Princes Highway through Bulli could improve travel times for motorists and help reduce congestion, RMS recognises a significant portion of the community values the parking through Bulli and notes the objections raised to previous proposals to extend the clearway times,” the spokeswoman said.
