A few months ago Batman surprised Leo with a visit in the Batmobile to his 18th birthday party at Jamberoo Pub.
It was one of three wishes granted to one of only a handful of primordial dwarfs in Australia following a promise made by KidzWish founder Chris Beaven.
The others included enjoying his first beer at the bar with his parents and a Toy Story birthday cake.
But during the celebration and a ride through the streets of Jamberoo with his superhero Leo requested the caped crusader return for the 2018 KidzWish Christmas Party in November.
Leo also suggested that he could be Batman for a day and his crime fighting hero could be Santa at the 15th annual party themed Once Upon A Time.
Batman spoke to Mrs Beaven and agreed and return this week to the annual Christmas Party for more than 4300 children who are sick, disadvantaged or have a disability.
It is just another example of the wonderful generosity KidzWish enjoys from so many in the Illawarra community and beyond.
Another recent example of that was the 18th birthday celebration itself when Jamberoo Pub and the Warren family provided the venue, food and drinks.
Ross Warren said they had long supported KidzWish because it did so much fantastic wonderful work for children in the Illawarra community.
The lengths that people go to support the cause was also given by Heather Hopkinson, of All Occasion Cakes, who prepared the large Toy Story cake with Woody and Buzz Lightyear on top.
And Greg Page, the original yellow Wiggle, is returning as a volunteer entertainer for a 10th year at both the KidzWish Christmas Party on Thursday and the ball on Friday.
Other entertainers include speed painter Brad Blaze and the Geoff Harvey Big Band.
Mrs Beaven said Finance Control, McDonald’s and Steel City Beverage Co were among many businesses supporting the two events this year. She is expecting more than 700 people at WIN Entertainment Centre for the ball on Friday night.
