The recent move came after almost three decades at its Market Street office.
Its new home is the recently completed Vivid building on the corner of Auburn and Dean Streets.
Partners Paul Magagnino, David Potts, Michael Hatfield, Amy Harper, Peter Chodat and Mario Quintiliani saw the move as a chance to thank its staff and clients and reflect on Kells proud history as one of Wollongong's oldest law firms.
But it is also looking to the future with a modern new open plan office and enhancement to its IT platforms and a new website allowing it to deliver better services for clients.
Mr Potts gave a short speech at the official opening thanking those who had worked tirelessly to make the move go smoothly. And he thanked all friends, colleagues and supporters.
“The new offices are beautiful, spacious and bright. We have a good working environment for the delivery of legal services. We have a collaborative meeting space and collaborative team spaces. We like to think of ourselves in partnership with our clients rather than just providing professional services.”
