Murray has big targets in mind for the Fighting Sun filly, with a start in the $1 million Inglis Sprint in February firmly on his radar.
Miss Scorcher will take her first steps towards the lucrative three-year-old event when she returns from a spell at Kensington on Thursday.
The filly will resume in the Events By ATC Sprint (1100m).
"She has come back in fine order and I am very pleased with her," Murray said.
"She has filled out a good half hand and put on some weight as well.
"We always thought we would see the best of her as a three-year-old so it's exciting times ahead."
In-form jockey Tye Angland is set to pilot Miss Scorcher at the mid-week meeting but will be forced to navigate from a tricky outside draw in barrier nine.
"The draw makes it difficult but she has got good gate speed," Murray said.
"If she can come away well she might end up in front and they could just leave her alone.”
Meanwhile, Kerry Parker will also take in-form stayer Heartlet into town on Thursday to contest the 2500m event.
