Oceanfront land lots are being offered for the first time at The Waterfront, Shell Cove.
Three oceanfront lots will go up for sale.
There is expected to be great interest in the first oceanfront land release offered in Frasers Property Australia and Shellharbour City Council’s master-planned community, The Waterfront.
The lots are located on Oceanfront Drive.
They are part of a limited release of nine premium land lots in The Beachside Collection, located close to the beach, boat harbour and Shellharbour Marina.
The three oceanfront lots will be sold via Expressions of Interest, which must be received by November 29.
The six other lots in The Beachside Collection are on Seaside Avenue.
Some offer views of the marina, while others are within a stone’s throw of the beach at the end of the street.
They will be sold via electronic ballot on December 6, with registrations closing December 2.
The lots in The Beachside Collection range in size from 345sqm to 537sqm, fronting Shellharbour South Beach and surrounded by expansive parks.
All the lots on offer are close to the new The Waterfront town centre, featuring a full-line Woolworths supermarket, specialty stores and dining options.
The six beachside land lots will range in price from $650,000 to $875,000.
The limited release is the first since stage one of the town centre opened to the community recently.
Glenn Colquhoun, development director – Shell Cove, Frasers Property Australia said with few opportunities available to purchase beachside land in the Illawarra or Sydney regions, this limited release offers a great chance to build your dream beach house.
“This is the first oceanfront land release we have offered, and we are expecting intense interest from buyers eager to secure one of the nine premium land lots in The Beachside Collection,” Mr Colquhoun said.
“Stage one of The Waterfront town centre has just opened for business and the community is fast taking shape.
“Like all lots at The Waterfront, the new release will offer access to the cycleways and walkways connecting the community’s parks, schools, town centre and marina.
“These lots have the added bonus of being steps away from the public boat ramp and the beach.”
The Waterfront, Shell Cove is a master-planned community.
A focal point will be the 270-berth boat harbour and Shellharbour Marina next to the town centre, featuring a retail precinct anchored by a Woolworths supermarket and specialty shops, restaurants on the marina’s edge, waterfront tavern, hotel, children’s beach, water play areas, library and community centre.
