There will be an accident
With the local authorities trying to reduce the risk of accidents whilst driving down the M1 at Mount Ousley and given the new laws forcing drivers to slow to 40km/h passing flashing emergency vehicle lights, I suggest that the highway patrol refrain from pulling over non serious traffic offenders at the steep, winding sections of the descent, especially at peak times.

In such circumstances recently, I came upon a flashing patrol car parked on the shoulder with an officer on foot attending to a motorist. Traffic was busy & already under heavy braking maintaining 80km/h.
It seemed perilous to suddenly break to the required speed for fear of skidding or having people behind me lose control. None of us seemed to be able to slow to anywhere near the 40 km/h & I guess that others wondered as did I about being caught by the speed camera technology on that patrol car.
Please consider tailing the offender to at least the Mt Ousley road turnoff before deploying the Christmas lights. There will be an accident.

More jails would be needed
These so called experts on the Parole Board seem to be failing more than not. A solution would be to sack them and select everyday people off the street, like the jury system.
I am pretty sure there would not be many re offenders let out. The government would have to build more jails.

Thanks for the memories
It was supposed to be Tim Cahill's send off match with the socceroos it was advertised that way and people would be thinking he would be in the starting line up but no they did it to him again snubbing the greatest player to ever wear the green and gold.
You would think Graham Arnold would let him get on there and strut his stuff but no again they kick him in the guts.
I was going to go and watch his last game but as soon as I heard he's only getting five or ten at minutes at the most I soon knocked that on the head who the hell does Arnold think where playing here its a bloody friendly and against Lebanon.
I really think soccer Australia has a lot to answer for that stadium would have had a lot more bums on seats if he was to get at least 60 minutes of the action hang on on I'll re phrase that the game was atrocious Tom Juric couldn’t hit a side of a barn with a hand full of wheat How can you expect him to come on and make an impact.
The blood sweat and tears he has put into this team from day one and they reward him with eight minutes of game time but as Timmy the way he is still smiling and joking but deep down it was hurting him.
I think in the future we should be looking after our greatest players because not all players are the same in nature we once had a player play in the 1974 world cup who could have been another legend and which i had the privilege of him staying with my family when he arrived from England I’m talking about Peter Wilson Willy walked away from the game because of the way he was treated and its going to happen again and again because billy goats are running the show. Its turning me away from the game ever time they do something like this.
Thanks for the memories TC.
