Highly-respected coach Alan Gaffney will hold a coaching masterclass for the Academy’s 39 rugby players on Tuesday night.
Gaffney has coached some of Australia’s best players, including David Campese and George Gregan and has recently been involved with the Irish national side.
Academy Athlete Coach and Program Manager Dane Robinson said it’s just one of a number of exciting sessions for the IAS’s athletes.
“It’s exciting to see the array of programs underway and most evenings there is an IAS training session being conducted somewhere in the Illawarra,” Robinson said.
“We will continue to work hard on enabling access to sessions and the education of the athletes and the coaches.”
