The 29-run defeat was the team’s fourth loss from as many matches and captain Kerrod White labelled the overall showing as disappointing.
Chasing 158, Ryan Maguire was the lone bright spot with the bat, scoring an attacking 61 off 44 balls.
Despite this year’s winless campaign, White is confident the groundwork has been laid for future success.
“Under par is a good way to sum up our competition,” White said. “We’re a much better side than that and we’re not that far off the Sydney teams, our fielding needs to improve a lot though.
“At the moment we’re the laughing stock, I don’t think anyone takes us seriously and I’m hoping that attitude towards us changes.
“I think we will improve and if the right people are available, we can win games and get to the finals.”
