Reality television was a big winner for the WIN TV network who have just released their top rating programs for 2018.
In top spot was the coverage for the Bathurst 1000 Supercars main race, as Holden pair Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards were crowned the kind of Mount Panorama.
The flavour then changed to Masterchef for Illawarra viewers. The announcement of Sashi Cheliah as winner of the cooking series in July was next on the list for popularity.
While I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here winner announcement was the next most watched program on WIN this year.
Aside from most popular, network CEO Andrew Lancaster said other reality programs also shows significant growth in audience numbers.
“This year, Australian Survivor showed tremendous gains as Olympic swimming legend Shane Gould emerged victorious in an unforgettable finish,” he said.
Mr Lancaster said he looked forward to the launch of several new “landmark productions” in the new year – including the revival of Dancing With The Stars and Changing Rooms.
