Playing under the Jack Newton Junior Golf banner, Port Kembla’s Ward will contest the 15 years division, while Woonona-product Heaton will feature in the 16 years event.
The NSW side has held a stranglehold on the competition in recent years, winning the series for nine years in a row.
Queensland, however, hit back in 2018, securing a 15-15 draw to break the winning run.
NSW will hope to return to their winning ways when the competition is played in a Ryder Cup-style format at Newcastle Golf Club on January 10 and 11.
Selection was based on performances at Jack Newton Junior Golf tournaments throughout the past year, with both Ward and Heaton holding the lowest average score in their respective age divisions.
