CHANGE A CONSTANT
Well, hasn’t Peter Corkish publicly bared his lack of tolerance and other things in his comment about Adrian Devlin, ‘Choose Another Country? (Illawarra Mercury, November 29, 2018)?

He outdoes the typical attack by his ilk of demonising and debasing anyone who doesn’t agree with their view: he wants them to move to another country.
I wonder, wouldn’t it be less stressful for him if he simply moved himself off to another country.
I believe that anyone who ignores the fact that, ever since the creation of the planet, aspects like climate, sea levels, and ice cover have continued to change for tens of millions of years along with the extinction of life.
None of which occurred because of anything mankind has done.
Dramatic climate changes were occurring well before mankind ever existed, and there is nothing mankind can do to force the planet’s climate to become static.
I, like many, treat the current hypotheses and resulting philosophies about man-made climate change with a degree of scepticism.
Consider the planet’s behaviour over tens of millions of years and convince me that mankind, which is barely a blip on the planet’s timeline, is now destroying it.

ADDRESS TAFE CRISIS
Over the last few decades, both governments when in power have attempted to privatise the TAFE sector.
The cost of TAFE and vocational education has been liberally shifted from governments onto students through loan schemes and a failure to adequately resource TAFE.
Technical college is the worst funded education sector in this country because of attempts to privatise it.
Technical colleges have always been highly regarded educational institutions which have supported communities and employers for decades.
It has provided pathways to employment.
Unless both governments address the crisis in the TAFE sector, unemployment will always be up..

FIND OTHER PLACES
No to reclassifying Mt Keira from “culturally significant”.
Mt Keira and Mt Kembla are sacred sites for the original owners of the land and should be protected.
Other less culturally significant sites should be found for the mountain biking.
The reclassification from "culturally significant" to “general use” should not be approved.
This land is "culturally significant" and always will be.
To reclassify would be a significant step backwards in terms of reconciliation and a completely disrespectful step.
This reclassification is likely to have unforeseen and irreversible consequence.
