Emergency services were called to Port Kembla’s Hill 60 to rescue a man who had slipped on rocks at the bottom of Hill 60 on Thursday night.

The 54-year-old Wollongong man went to the rock shelf to fish.
After fishing he went to the rock pools in search of oysters and sea snails where he slipped on wet rocks and landed on his face at about 7pm.
The man had a bloody nose, sore knees, back and shoulders.
Nearby fisherman came to the man’s aid. He was moved him to a move comfortable location and called emergency services.
NSW Ambulance paramedics, NSW Fire and Rescue crews and officers from Lake Illawarra police attended the scene.
The man was stretchered to a nearby ambulance and transported to hospital.
