Now trading as MoneyQuest Wollongong the couple and their growing team revealed they are hiring more staff after ending 2018 on a high after making the Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA) Top 100 Brokers list in November.
It was the third year in a row Mr Wright was honoured in the Top 100 but first time he had been recognised as part of the national mortgage broking franchise MoneyQuest Australia.
Mrs Wright said the new office was acquired 12 months ago and moved from Market St after renovating the site. They decided to become a part of MoneyQuest Australia because they knew managing director Michael Russell and felt it a good fit.
“We are just about to put an internship on and we have just employed a a business development manager,” she said.
Mr Russell previously worked with Mr Wright in another company 15 years ago and said it was great to reunite. “He is an outstanding broker. In this industry you have got to love working with people and care about them and the outcomes of what they are trying to achieve”.
“He has built his business on repeat and referral customers,” Mr Russell said.
Mr Wright said his daughter Amy Johnston was the new business development manager and her task was growing the brand and getting MoneyQuest known in Wollongong.
“Our goal over the next three years is to double our business from where it is today,” he said.
“We will need more staff”.
