Little superhero Kalani Ebbs will be in the thoughts of those who gather to see Christmas lights at a Warilla home on Monday night.

Dozens of people are expected to gather at 35 Queen Street dressed in a superhero costume, or the colour purple, to remember the Dapto girl.
The two year old lost her battle with brain cancer on December 12.
Family friend of Kalani’s parents Charlene and Justin Ebbs, Nicole Wood has organised the fundraising night to help pay for Kalani’s funeral and support the Ebbs family.
“Kalani was known as a little superhero by her family and the wider community,” Ms Wood said.
“Each year the owners of the Warilla home Josh and Alysha Day put up their Christmas lights and collect money which is donated to charity.
“This year Alysha wanted to donate the money to Kalani’s Go Fund Me page.
“Charlene was going to bring Kalani to see the lights but she went into hospital much sooner than expected so she wasn’t able to see them.
“Now we want to honour Kalani by asking people to see the lights.”
Ms Wood said it was also a chance for the wider community to say goodbye to Kalani, many of whom have been touched by the little girl’s cancer battle.
Ms Wood also hopes Kalani’s two siblings Khaleesi and Kallen will create a nice memory during the difficult time.
The decorated home is just one of thousands of great Christmas displays across the region.

What started out as a way to entertain their two children has turned into a small obsession for Mrs Shearer and her husband Peter.
“Each year the display has gotten bigger and better,” she said. “We have been collecting lights and ornaments over the years.
“We have a Sydney scene with a Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Luna Park and Ferris wheel, Sydney Tower as well as Australian animals.
“We also have a sleigh where people can sit and take photos, someone in my family dresses up as Santa and this year our latest addition is a Santa zoo where animals are dressed in Christmas outfits.”
