The property at 181 Wire Lane, Berry boasts approximately 250 acres of pasture land with a working farm and five-bedroom family home.
Listed for sale in April for the first time since 2002, Berry developers Mark and Janet Lamble sold it to a Sydney buyer.
Mrs Lamble said the property had been their family home, but they were returning to the north shore where they had resided previously.
She said they’d enjoyed the farming elements of the property, as well as its location and Berry’s “small country town” feel.
“It was very hard to make the decision to move on,” she said.
“We ended up buying a property up at Scotland Island; we’re great boat lovers.”
Selling agent, Carrie Bond from South Coast Prestige Properties said the property exchanged last week.
Ms Bond said its strengths included its “proximity to town, the beach and the opportunity to capitalise for subdivision on a 150-acre parcel (that) has already been approved”.
“It’s the perfect location from Sydney… The perfect recipe for that Sydney buyer wanting a dream farm near the beach in Berry,” she told the Mercury.
