Salmon, tailor, bream and flatties on either ganged pillies of soft plastics.
Rocks still have plenty of great sized drummer and bream about them on royal reds and cunje and for those that enjoy throwing lures around there are plenty of rat kings, salmon and tailor about.

The guys report opened with just one word – marlin.
Both striped and blacks have started to show with a couple of the larger trailer boats, hanging on in this last week of strong north easterly winds to tag 3 billies in a session. Best results have come from easily locating the many prevalent bait schools offshore, securing a few livies on bait jigs and slow trolling them around the same schools.
The billfish find you rather than you burning fuel unnecessarily as there has been some dirty cold water in close at the moment which can make the fishing a little slow especially for blind trolling skirted lures.
Snapper have also been hunting down the bait and have been keen to smack artificial lures including the wide colour range of yakamito metal jigs.
If you have not tried metal jigs as yet, it is kinda like jigging for kings but with a twist and the shop staff would be keen to show n tell if you call in.
