Deep sleep: A Unanderra woman appears in Port Kembla court accused of drugging a four-year-old boy with prescription medication. She is in a de facto relationship with the mother of the boy. She plans to fight the charges.

Dragon charged: St George Illawarra Dragons star Jack de Belin is charged over an alleged sexual assault in a Wollongong apartment. De Belin tells the club he plans to fight the charges. Later this month Shellharbour Sharks player Callan Sinclair would also be charged over the same alleged incident

Brave girl: Two-year-old Kalani Ebbs loses her battle with brain cancer. 

Zapped: A man and woman are charged over an incident where a University of Wollongong student is hit with a stun gun while parking his car at Keiraville. 

Degree drama: The University of Wollongong partners with The Ramsay Centre to deliver a Western Civilisation degree, which has been rejected by at least one other university amid concerns about academic freedom.
