The New Zealand star marked his carnival debut with a Super Saturday Fours triumph with his Wiseman Park clubmates Chris Smith, Ben Ford and Robbie Warren and then clinched the Pairs crown with another Wisos mate Tom Hull.
“The award is a nice bonus,’’ Pascoe said.
“Any time you play in a team it’s about the team and this week I’d had great guys around me.’’
Pascoe entered all four Carnival events and played on all nine days; a huge achievement given the temperature on most days spiked into the 30s Celsius.
He also won five matches in Singles to reach the last 16, with his 25-21 loss to Matt Sargeant considered one of the carnival’s best matches.
The good news for Wiseman Park is Pascoe will return to again spearhead the Gwynneville club’s bid for the Grade 1 pennant and a place in the State Finals.
