The property is located at 6/589 Woodhill Mountain Road, Woodhill.
The 93-acre property is perched high upon Woodhill Mountain, and offers an off-grid lifestyle with existing solar panels that completely power the home.
The home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The home, a replica of an 1830’s Australian Georgian villa, was architecturally designed by Michael Bell.
Its design was influenced by the work of Colonial Australian architect John Verge.
The home won the National Trust Award for Continuing Tradition in 2017.
Owners Hugh and Judith Wilson built the home and have been living there for ten years, having purchased the land two years prior to that.
They had relocated from Paddington, where Mr Wilson said “the rat race was getting to us”.
“So we wanted something quiet and peaceful,” he said.
Mr Wilson described the property as “nirvana” that offered “absolute privacy and tranquility”.
“The property is predominantly virgin rainforest, with about five acres cleared.”
He said it overlooked Seven Mile Beach and Berry.
Now retired, Mr Wilson said they planned to downsize and “move into something smaller in town”.
The selling agent is Carrie Bond of South Coast Prestige Properties.
