The Illawarra-based national not-for-profit health fund Peoplecare is hosting a series of kids days during the January school holidays.
It is the third year Peoplecare have hosted the family friendly events that are designed to promote health in the local community.
And educate children and their families on how to maintain healthy eyes and teeth.
The first of the Kids’ Days this summer is being held from 9am at Peoplecare Eyes and Teeth at 63 Market Street, Wollongong on Saturday.
Hawks players Daniel Grida and Emmett Naar are expected to arrive at 11am.
Peoplecare chief executive officer Dr Melinda Williams said it was a chance to introduce children to dentists and optometrists in a safe, fun and colourful way.
And in the process helping to break down barriers to future visits for families.
“These days have proven very popular for families of the Illawarra and it is our hope that families benefit from the positive outcomes of the day in the year ahead,” Dr Williams said.
Due to popularity registrations are advised and further information is available on 1300 574 778.
