A rural property in Kangaroo Valley has topped the list of highest selling properties on the South Coast in 2018.

Figures from Domain show the highest-selling properties across the region, with a three bedroom, one bathroom rural property on Gerringong Creek Road property finishing on top, with a sale price of $8 million.
The property was sold after 190 days on the market by a private treaty.
The Shoalhaven’s iconic Terara House came in second, after it was sold for $6.25 million last August.
The property, formerly a wedding venue, is located on beautiful grounds, with seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and 10 parking spaces.
The third most expensive property was located at Wire Lane, Berry and sold for $5.4 million in December. The property boasts approximately 250 acres of pasture land with a working farm and five-bedroom family home.
Next on the list was 96 Rose Valley Road, Rose Valley, which sold for $4.9 million. The four-bedroom home is located on a farm, with stunning ocean views.
Rounding out the top five most expensive properties was 72 Cyrus Street, Hyams Beach, which sold for $4.8 million. The house featured seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.
A Eurobadalla home also made the top 10, with a sale of 3.65 million in March last year. The Guerilla Bay home, located on Guerilla Bay Road, is just metres back from the ocean’s edge with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Rounding out the top 10 was a Bundewallah property, which sold for $3.48 million.
The barn-style home has six bedrooms, three bathrooms and five parking spaces. Before last year, 40 Bundewallah Road sold eight years ago, for $760k.
A Kiama property made the top 20 list, selling for $3.35 million. The top-end, Hamptons-inspired property, located at 27 Tingira Place, was listed on the market in May, and sold in July.
Greenway Farm, on the Princes Highway at Bodalla recently sold for $2.95 million.
Labelled a “rare opportunity” by real estate agents, the three bedroom home is located on more than 240 hectares of land, with 4.8km of Tuross River frontage.
Broulee’s 2 Ingram Street also made the list, after selling for $2.75 million in January last year.
The four-bedroom house took 101 days to sell, and has a tennis court and water views.
Grand rural Jamberoo residence ‘Warreen’ sold for $2.5 million to an undisclosed buyer.
Located at 417 Wallaby Hill Road, the private 120-acre property offers 180-degree expansive views over Jamberoo Valley, Lake Illawarra and the Illawarra coastline.
