Breakout is introducing what it is billing as an exciting and novel Corporate Team Building Program.
Business owners Brett Baker and Colin Bloomfield see the facility as a great location to improve teamwork and professional development and have added a workshop component.
Unlike traditional corporate training strategies, the program incorporates the physical game as a tool to stimulate team-building by solving codes, riddles and puzzles.
Mr Baker said the ultimate aim is to ‘escape’ the room successfully within a specific time period. But within the program, a one-day workshop will provide a team the opportunity to develop personal and interpersonal skills in a creatively designed, interactive course. He said it was designed to be a fun training event that requires effective teamwork under pressure.
Stellar Asia Pacific centre manager Matt Whiteside said the program was an incredible opportunity for his team to develop better workplace skills.
“It’s been exceptionally well-thought out to be really beneficial to the way people operate back in the workplace,” Mr Whiteside said.
The Corporate Team Building Program also provides pre and post workshop material designed to increase team productivity over the long term.
“The pre-work and follow-up made it something that bedded in – instead of the usual drop off in enthusiasm you usually get after doing these types of things,” Mr. Whiteside said.
