Police divers have recovered the body of a man who went missing while swimming at Wattamolla Beach late on Tuesday.

The search began when Police were contacted around 6.15pm on Tuesday when a 20-year-old man, an Indian National, went missing after he was last seen swimming in the lagoon area about an hour earlier.
Officers from Sutherland Police Area Command, the Dog Squad, and Police Rescue attended and commenced a sea and land search.
Police divers attended and about 1.30am on Wednesday located the body of the man in water a short distance from where he was last seen. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
It is the second drowning this week in the region.
The body of a man missing in the Kangaroo River in the Shoalhaven on Sunday afternoon was found five hours after he disappeared.
The 27-year-old got into trouble around 3.40pm on Sunday while swimming with friends in the river near a camp ground at Bendeela.
