Come Friday more than 6500 high school students from across the state will have experienced what a day at university is really like during UOW’s annual Discovery Days.
The first Discovery Day on Monday saw year 12 students from NSW, the ACT and Victoria check out the fun, festivities and facilities at UOW.
Domestic student recruitment manager Bradley Carter said Discovery Days gave Year 12 students a real insight into student and campus life.
“It showcases the services and facilities on campus, the degrees available, and the general vibe of what it means to be a student at UOW,” he said.
“We have one of the most beautiful campuses in Australia and we love welcoming high school students from all corners of the state.
“We are proud to show future students how UOW can help them achieve their dreams and follow their passions.”
The annual Discovery Days are UOW’s largest undergraduate recruitment event, drawing thousands of students from hundreds of high schools, including the Central West, South West Sydney, Goulburn, the Southern Highlands, and regional Victoria, over the five-day period.
