The money will be used to offset costs associated with their performances and programs to help further musical education in the region.
Runners up Kanahooka Girls' Brigade and the Albion Park Cows Football Club will each receive $500 for their nomination to help subsidies operational costs and ensure the community can continue to join in the extra-curricular activities they offer.
“It’s great to see such a diverse range of community groups benefiting from the funds,” Greater Bank’s Regional Manager Greg Creagan said.
“While all three groups offer different experiences to different people, they share the common goal of positively contributing to our community.”
Voting for the February funding round is now open and closes on Wednesday February 27. Vying for a share in $3000 will be Wollongong Brass and Wind Bands, Jamberoo P&C Association and 100% Kokoda – Triple 100 Challenge.
