Tim Coenraad also nailed a triple but Bairstow had the last say of the quarter with a runner to take a four-point lead into the final change.
Gliddon opened the term with a three but Naar responded with back to back triples to cut the margin back to three. Reuben Te Rangi's first three with just under four minutes looked a dagger, taking a six-point lead.
Jett and Jackson had easy buckets straight out of a timeout to bring the margin back to two, with the latter leveling up at 82 apiece with 90 seconds left. It brought them close enough before their wobbles cost them down the stretch.
